Dean Leichtle is the lead consultant and trainer in the Midwestern United States and all of Canada for the PlanGrid Professional Services team. Young founded PlanGrid with Ralph Gootee, Ryan Sutton-Gee, Antoine Hersen, and Kenny Stone in the fall of 2011. Prior to founding PlanGrid, Young helped build several hospitals as a construction engineer. She likes to joke that she went from working for one superintendent to hundreds of thousands through PlanGrid.

Prior to PlanGrid, Christine was an engagement manager at renowned consulting firm McKinsey & Company, focused on the construction and energy sectors. While at McKinsey, she oversaw the deployment of a lean management system across a 5,000+ employee distributed workforce and created a real estate firm’s IPD strategy to significantly improve productivity on the firm’s construction projects. Christine also spent four years at Clark Construction, in the GC’s Civil and Foundations department, where she proudly designed and managed excavation support for the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of African American History and Culture. Michael is the President of MOCA’s software products division, Touchplan, and a co-founder of MOCA. He has 20 years of construction management experience with significant expertise in project controls. He currently leads the development of Touchplan. Ralph Gootee is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at PlanGrid, the leader in construction productivity software, where he oversees product strategy for the company from design to development to delivery.
Gootee founded PlanGrid with Tracy Young, Ryan Sutton-Gee, Antoine Hersen, and Kenny Stone in the fall of 2011. Prior to founding PlanGrid, Gootee was a systems rendering engineer at Pixar Animation Studios where he helped write tools for animators used in Cars 2, Toy Story 3, and Brave. Prior to Pixar, Gootee was a software engineer at Sony Ericsson working on their first Android phone.
Gootee holds a Master’s of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, Probability Theory & Stochastic Processes from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Traditional Mathematics, Abstract Algebra from Salisbury University.
Drew Moncada is the lead consultant and trainer for Texas and Oklahoma and has helped implement PlanGrid for construction firms all across the United States. He started learning the industry in 1998 using AutoCAD R14 and has been nationally recognized for his drafting skills by Skills USA VICA in 2001 and 2002. Working in the A/E field, he designed various educational facilities across the Lower Rio Grande Valley and has seen the industry change from making hand made blueprint copies using vellum and ammonia to the digital collaboration we see today. He moved to Austin, TX in 2012, and worked as a PE/BIM Coordinator designing electrical layouts for high rise buildings, as well as rolled out PlanGrid to his field and PM team before officially joining the PlanGrid family.
Tom Alterman is the Product Lead for Submittals, RFIs and Specs at PlanGrid. He has been building technology products for the last 10 years, mostly in Healthcare and Education.
Kaivan Entezarmahdi is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer in California. He holds a master's degree in civil engineering from San Diego State University and runs PlanGrid's Los Angeles and Orange County field operations. Prior to joining PlanGrid, Kaivan worked on marquee construction projects such as the Golden Gate Bridge Seismic Retrofit in San Francisco, Google's Bayview Headquarters in Mountain View and the Candlestick Point redevelopment in San Francisco. Lorrin is OSHA 30 Certified, an Excavation Safety Competent Person and believes that all accidents are preventable.
Brent Darnell is the pioneer in bringing emotional intelligence to the construction industry. In 2012 he was awarded Engineering News Record’s top 25 newsmaker’s award for his record breaking program that “transforms Alpha males into service focused leaders”. He recently created the Total Leadership Library, an online library of courses on emotional intelligence and people skills for the AEC industry.
