The countdown is on. Are you ready to meet lots of energizing speakers and leaders in construction–and enjoy all that San Francisco has to offer? While there are a few spots still available for registration, our inaugural PlanGrid Construction Summit is nearly sold out.
If you’ve already registered for the Summit, we’ve released a Summit and San Francisco city guide to help you make the most out of your trip. The guide includes conference highlights, hotel and dining recommendations and top city sites and tours.
Here’s a quick taste of the options and sites that you’ll find during the PlanGrid Construction Summit from June 10-11, 2018.
Accommodations in the Heart of San Francisco
Located in the Theater District, the Hilton San Francisco Union Square hosts the Summit and is conveniently located close to a variety of options for entertainment and dining. Want to take a quick walk to Chinatown or historical Nob Hill? You’re less than a mile away, and cable cars are close enough to provide you with a lovely overview of the city. Plus, the Hilton hotel is less than 15 miles from the San Francisco International Airport and 20 miles from Metropolitan Oakland International–making it an easy trip regardless of where you land. Group rates are available at a significant discount–but hurry, spaces are limited and the rate is only valid for a few more days.
Dining and Nightlife You’ll Have to See to Believe
Whether your idea of a good time is cheering on your favorite team or sipping wine in a more cultured setting, San Francisco has something for everyone. There’s plenty of dining and nightlife options, but don’t forget that conference registrants are invited to a special Welcome Reception on June 10, 2018, from 5-7 pm at the Hilton Cityscape Lounge. Enjoy spectacular views of the city while networking with colleagues and new friends.
Spotting Iconic Structures
You have to admit, there are some pretty amazing structures in San Francisco. Not only that, some of these are currently under construction–a design and construction nerd’s dream. Here are a few you won’t want to miss:
With more than 14,000 Victorian homes, 200 historic landmark buildings and 11 historic districts scattered throughout the city, you are certain to find locations that will inspire you for years to come.
Don’t forget your camera. You’ll want to capture everything from the views to that stunning example of the Gothic Revival style.
