Sometimes we need to see a bit more of our sheets. Sometimes we need to draw with perfect precision. And sometimes we need to do everything all at once. When Apple announced iPad Pro and Pencil earlier this year, we saw an opportunity for PlanGrid, and so did many of you. With the launch of PlanGrid 3.8, we are able to deliver on all three.
PlanGrid looks amazing on the new iPad Pro, and Pencil gives you a tremendous amount of precision as you draw. In fact, it is so precise that we needed to improve our line smoothing algorithm to keep up. Now when you draw with Pencil, your sketches look like your sketches. We’re confident that once you’ve tried PlanGrid with Pencil, you’ll never want to give it up.
PlanGrid also supports the new multitasking feature in iOS 9. You can now use PlanGrid on one half of your screen and Mail, Calendar or anything else on the other. No more hopping back and forth to get things done. Multitasking is available on iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro.
PlanGrid 3.8 also includes Sheet Compare. This lets you instantly see the differences between any two sheets or sheet versions. Compare brings your attention to every change, helping you to keep track of every minor revision or find potential conflicts. Sheet Compare works great on all supported iOS devices.
